Its been way too long since I last met my best friends since Yunqian's little surprise birthday party. And its been a good long time since we had this much fun together.

We even made of vlog of Vivian sleeping and Yunqian and I shall hereby title it, Howie and Yunqian on the quest for crocodiles. Wait till I get a stable internet connection, be prepared to get your minds blown away.

Last Friday, my school had our own National Day celebrations by having a mere 5 minute parade, a collage competition and... Band practice. Meh. I rather be out of the crowd with the shinobi-driven percussion section making real orgasmic percussive music for the parade. That's what all the other schools are incorporating anyway. But our collage turned out nifty in the end. Check out the photos:

Last week, I went for Farah's SNYO concert at Esplanade with Syafiqah, Danish, Wedding, Sharifah and Iman. Its been a long while since I went for concerts like these!

Today was extra fantabular. We hung around at the furniture shop, had peach yoghurt raining with fruity pebbles, bummed around at Yami Yoghurt, smuggled in half a dozen of sushi into the cinema like a bad ass, still bought popcorn and coca fucking cola and caught Despicable Me with Sharifah, Wedding, Danish and Kenneth. I don't get why people has to specifically quote this from Despicable Me: "Its so fluffy, I'm gonna die!" Go do on a cotton candy and fucking die then. No seriously. What the fuck do you want to know? Food is bliss and Gru's accent for the fucking win! Sorry for the abbreviated post. I feel intoxicated from coke. Mmm.

National Band Competition 2010 -
Shuqun Wind Orchestra, Gold With Honors!

Although this competition isn't as renowned and popular as SYF, this means the whole universe to the band, especially after clinching gold with fucking honors. Holy smokes I feel like god. I can never emphasize how just amazing this feels. Thank you everyone for your congratulatory messages! And congratulations Shuqun Wind Orchestra!! This year has been a legendary one for us!

And I've just realised for two competitions straight, I've actually been playing on the traditional chinese drums.

Passing Out Parade 2010:

For three years, Nursyafiqah Binte Nazli has always been by my side in band.
To think that she has stepped down and that we will never play for competitions together ever again...
But nonetheless. Everything she needs to know about how much she mean to me is all encrypted in the probable biggest red card she'll ever receive in her life.

After POP, the shinobi gang headed to Plaza Singapura together to get Danish's birthday drumsticks. We ended up bumming around the music store for a long while, having our little jam with the electronic drums and acoustic guitars. And pigging out on Macdonalds. And playing Lamb Of God songs on Kai Wen's PSP. And playing tag with Kenneth and Kaiwen at the playground.

Its my first week of school and life can never get more mind fucked than that. I had one of the worst days ever. My 4 day headache has mutated to a fever. I feel like a miserable bed ridden fag because I am downright sick. I still went for band practice today even though I ditched lessons just so that I can sing Danish a Happy Birthday song, only to find myself ruining his big day by fighting with my butterfly shinobi… Which involves a lot of cold war, cursing, screaming, crying, throwing of the drumsticks in rage and nearly having an empty eye socket. I need to get my justified justice.

Edit: Oh well. I guess all in honesty, nothing can break the shinobi-driven percussion section apart. Thank you baby.

Sometimes I find joining all these social networking sites overwhelming. People inform me of so much of their lives that it surpasses my care threshold. Blogging in anonymity on my other personal blog feels great but I think I should get way more personal with this blog just to let my best friends know how I'll encrypt little subtle messages for them that they have been ditching me, completely forgetting about me throughout the holidays and how I think I hold no significance in their lives anymore.

Stoked for POP rehearsals tomorrow and POP on Saturday. My holiday was actually pretty fucked especially with the intensive band practices. When school starts again in Term 3, there are gonna be some nifty, eye-opening differences from last term. New buildings, new art room, new time table!

I have this bad ass blue black on my thigh after my mum threw my little brother's toy car at me. It looks like a fucking nebula. And the toy car is not your mediocre toy car you get from the dollar machine. Its like an automobile around the house which is almost equivalent to my little brother's size. Can you feel the immensity of our fight?! And what were we fighting over for again? Computer usage.

After fighting with my mum, half an hour later, I decided to meet up with Heri anyway. I wish he never, ever had to leave the percussion section or transfer to Hwa Chong at all!

Nothing hip and happening during these past few weeks except that the band has been painstakingly preparing ourselves for the concert every single day.

Last Tuesday, Danish, Kenneth, Reshi, Kai Wen and I got complimentary tickets from Mr Lim to John Tempesta's Asia clinic tour. No matter how expensive your savvy recording equipment is, it will never be able to match and amount up to the immensity of the solos John Tempesta played. It was amazing and inspiring. All I need now is a band, a legit drum kit and a record deal, and only then my life will be complete.

Aside from homosexuals, I swear to god, the last person in the world I would ever marry is someone who smokes. One day, I'm just gonna face the fucking ordeal and watch all of my friends die before me.

→ Morning band practices from Monday till Wednesday from 9am till 11.30am. We get to skip lessons in between the mornings! It doesn't spare us from even more band practices in the afternoon though.
→ I had the most tensed truth or dare game ever in my life with Clarisa, Devi, Hail, Irfan, Ruhsyaidi, Danial, Martin, Darian and Haikal last Tuesday.
→ Tutor session with Mr Derrick last Tuesday and yesterday. We're gonna play two ensemble pieces for the concert. And we finally have the train whistle! But it costed Miss Jama a hefty $150.
→ Had PTM as well yesterday. My results were whorerible. But hooray for the June holidays!
→ Percussion outing on Saturday before Syafiqah leaves for Paris on Sunday for a week.
→ John Tempesta's clinic tour with Kenneth, Danish, Kai Wen and Reshi on Tuesday. I am especially stoked for this one. I checked out his videos on Youtube and he was fucking amazing.
→ I think I'm gonna take more pictures over the holidays especially during band practices to spice up this blog a little. Together with me and my mum's lao pok pink camera, we are one unbeatable duo.
→ I don't get why I'm using arrows.

Yesterday, I was late for school for the 6th time even though I tried dodging through the traffic like a shinobi just to catch my usual bus and ended up missing it. We had this sexuality talk about HIV/AIDS during assembly and there were powerpoint slides with explicit pictures of infected genitals. I know right. I am traumatized and I'll never get myself a boyfriend all in the name of infected penises and pussies. I faced the wrath of almighty Tang and had to be suspended in school after the talk for the first time of my life because I slept through english class like a bad ass yesterday. Just for that sole 5 minutes. Big bummer. During band practice, Kenneth, Danish and I were reading a classic storybook that Syafiqah borrowed from the library, particularly pages with a sex scene in them. Those pages made the boys so excited that our music scores wouldn't even turn them on anymore.

Today, Ruhsyaidi was probably the 3rd person during these past few weeks who approached me whether I would like to be part his band with him, Irfan, Danial and Hail. And today was the 2nd sequel to the sex education programme which was really an eye opener. Mdm Khatijah was so blunt. She even did the mastubating motion with an invisible dick infront of her after Sharifah Nor'ain asked her about it. I met up with Sharifah Hanisah, Syafiqah, Wedding, Kenneth, Danish and Kendrick after school for some orgasmic bubble tea before we headed back to school for band. I love my percussion section. The day I step down from band and the percussion section will be the day I carve up my own tombstone.

Just wanted to update you guys about what has been going oh about for the past couple of days. I have band practice every single day! I am super, super stoked for the concert. I'm searching for a percussion ensemble piece online right now, requested from our new percussion tutor Mr Derrick who came on Tuesday. Its the guy which happened to play the cajon during Ms Akari's recital. And Ms Akari left for Japan the very day that Mr Derrick came. We'll never, ever have our practices together, eat roti prata or long john slver after our practice and talk about cheating men ever again...

Chee bye. Everyone is gonna skim through all of the chunky paragraphs. That's why I've never liked blogging sometimes. You don't need a report about your general existence anyway. Syafiqah, Kenneth and I went to get the farewell gifts for her yesterday afternoon with everything compiled into one nifty heart shaped box. Today was the last practice with Ms Akari and we might never ever get to see her again since she's flying back to Japan on May 18th. I'm going to miss her... Till infinity and beyond. After practice, we bummed around Syafiqah's living room while watching Valentine's Day and eating the ever so orgasmic Long John Silver that has apparently replaced our old percussion traditional food, roti prata. When Reshi comes back, you bet its gonna be one holy catastrophic mayhem.

One last piece of good news before I start ripping my revision papers apart for the incoming mid-year examinations next week and get the fuck out of the internet world. Farah asked me whether I'd like to be their drummer for her band! I'm getting a really good feeling about this that it might work out. So stoked.

Ms Akari's recital at Yong Siew Toh:

Ms Akari's recital was amazing even though we missed the first timpani piece which I really wanted to see since we got too caught up watching Shinobi at Syafiqah's house. I'm even more inspired than ever.
I'm going to miss Ms Akari a lot when she heads back to Japan on the 18th of May. Next wednesday is gonna be our last practice as a section together but in the meantime, I am condemned to hell by the recent examinations preparations. I have absolutely no clue to what I'm supposed to do for art and humanities. Nyeh, nyeh, nyeh, nyeh, nyeh. I can't imagine what my life would be like in the future. Despite my parents' strong disapproval of me pursuing music in the future, there's no way I'm gonna live like an idiot in the office for the rest of my life. That's fer sure.

Before I end off this post, I'm just saying before this shit gets spread around by some people in school, I'm not in any fucking relationship. Even if I do have a boyfriend, I probably won't go around to all of my social networking websites or blogs promoting our relationship around like it was a cheesy condom advertorial... The only thing that keeps me alive in school this week are band practices with Syafiqah, Kenneth, Danish, Kai Wen and Jolie, the legendary percussion section. Haha.

Happy April Fools' Day even though there was absolutely no April Fools Day vibe in school yesterday. For me at least. My ruthlesss and bogus english teacher Miss Egg decides that she has the full liberty to strip me off from my band practices becaue she assumed I was sleeping in class today. This isn't the first time she threatened me like that and putting everything with regards to band at stake. She even wanted to take me out of the HK tour. Why does she have to specifically choose me to hound, make me cry and intentionally trespass my life like that?! I'm not the only one who sleeps in class anyway!

Sigh.

Huili asked me this morning why I've been down these few days. I'm not fine. But it just comes that point at dawn, noon, night when I'm tired and I can't sleep, and I just feel so lonely and sad. Very, very sad. But I'm not quite sure what it is that's making me sad. I just get sad. So when someone asks me what's wrong, I say I'm fucking fine. Because in all honesty, I don't know what's wrong.

And after watching a couple of Taiwan love dramas, I feel worse and significantly less intelligent, all in the good name of love. I am still the same romantically handicapped, outcasted fag. And its still probably gonna last for life.

My 3rd birthday cake from Bengawan Solo! The first was actually some small little 50 cents butter cake bought by Kai Wen which was shared among the percussion section. The one that kinda looks like kueh lapis except that it was in a yellow marble design? What the fuck nevermind. Only Pokemon Masters will understand.

And... We hung around in the Boys Toilet for awhile after eating the cake and ran back to the band room like ninjas because the mosquito repellent was all over the place. I know right.

Woke up late looking as if I had a sharingan at my left eye because it was bloodshot red. Yunqian may be a lao pok vampire but don't leave me out because afterall, I am still a fucking beast.
Can't ditch school because I had two tests today even though I was already running late, and for the first time in 2010 using my pocket money, I took a cab to school.
Met the usual people at the coffee. Ate guo tiao, tai wan sausage and chicken wing for breakfast. +1000 calories at least.
School went on till 2pm. I had physics and social studies tests. Submitted my sketch book to let Mdm Su evaluate for our CA1 marks which will probably be a tragedy if you read back to my 2 or 3 earlier posts. Common tests after Chinese New Year! Getting really, really immense!!!!
Went to Yuhua Macdonalds for lunch after school and the aircon was under maintenance. Chowed down on thee craved and legendary Mac fucking Spicy I've been daydreaming about during school. Fucking orgasmic.
Took a bus to HYSS to support the B'girls Volleyball Team and... Unexpectedly lost. Big bummer. Joey and Dave were dissing one of the girls in the opposing team throughout the whole match. Meh.
Went to Macdonalds for the second time after the match to get a drink and then took the bus back home with Ah Ma and Chee Bye.

Went for every interclass games this week for volleyball, soccer and captain's ball. My class claimed the 2nd place for soccer and 3rd place for captain's ball. And this week was really... Woah. Bizzare and unfortunate. Others might call it an ignition of an old, flickering flame combusting into fireworks again, I call it raging hormones gone wrong.

I lost my art sketch book yesterday. Found it hours later with the company of Syafiqah and Wedding in the room where we had the photoshoot for our ICs today. All the four art pieces I've countributed for hours this month were ruthlessly ripped off from the book. So much misfortunate befalling on me. And the same arrogant, bad ass malay sec one kids in school deliberately provoked me and hailed me as the tomboy who plays the drums again. But thanks for the recognition anyway.

Yesterday, I had Fish Zinger and legendary cheese fries at JP's KFC and hung around outside Jurong Library with clique, Geraldyn, Joey and Bird. Meena flew right off from the hammock when we were swinging it and somersaulted 360° head first on the ground. It was the funniest yet most painful shit I've ever seen up-close in my life.

Today, I had Nasi Lemak and hung around with clique and Geraldyn at Van's house. All of them were only laughing at the explicit parts while watching Epic Movie so we ditched the movie halfway and chilled in Van's room instead till 7pm.

Miss Ek was wearing a blue plaid shirt tucked into a long denim high waist skirt from her waist down till her calves. And brown fuckin' loafers. She made us do a cloze passage during English on Westlife's You Raise Me Up lyrics. She was singing and incorporating her little dancing hand motions into the song infront of the class and I therefore proclaim that Miss Ek is the hippiest english teacher alive. Ever.

Had a naise afternoon with Cassandra, Geraldyn, Huili and Veni today.
Wanted to have a little movie marathon (Epic movie and Lake house) at Van's place but her mum made her had an impromptu tuition at home.
In the end, we watched some programs on the telly and getting amused with Chai's little boobs enlargement exercise.

Anyway, I haven't been talking about school but school is great. Miss Ek is suggesting the whole show and tell session tomorrow. Whut?!

► A big fight broke out between Sam and XM in the midst of band practice that left some of us in the band in total dismay.
► Was super stoked for Flag Day today but I had to ditch it for band.

My 2010 in school started off well, fortunately. Never felt so bless in my life before enrolling in the same class with Huili, Cassandra and Meena. I think its a sign from someone godly that I've yet to decipher. Nyeh I'm just trying to be superstitious. And I'm annoyed by some people's persistent whining over twitter about school. Its only the 3rd day! Stop anticipating so much. You can read the rest of my yesterday from Cassandra's blog because I'm a beast.

Yesterday, the percussion section finally had our first ever exposure in school without the band. Right after all the nice compilation of songs played by the brass quintet, it was our turn to perform to our percussion ensemble piece, Oye Como Va. But the sec ones' faces were absolutely solemn throughout the whole performance. Chee bye.

As for today! I ate a chicken wing, char kway teow, black pepper chicken chop, fries, rice and at least two cans of aloe vera peach drink. Wait for it... Wait for it... For breakfast and lunch alone! Fucking glutton. I'm actually swearing upon myself to skip dinner and resisting not eating the pack of some BBQ Bonanza nachos situated nicely on the study table beside me. Now my papa is whipping up dinner. Fats are clogging up my brain! No!!!!!

2009 was a good year.

I'll list some eventful highlights of the year that some way or another have made a galactic amount of impact in 2009:

- Coming into 2/5, the acclaimed-to-be math class enrolling students who scored well for maths. I used to fail maths tragically in primary school so my parents were fucking proud of me until my math result for the end of year exams were crap. Expanded my social circle meeting new friends from the class especially my table mates, Grace, Shahirah, Gabrielle and Suhaili.

- Meeting Mister D. I hope you'd contact AIDS and die from an erectile dysfunction one day.

- Shuqun Symphonic Winds, now known as Shuqun Wind Orchestra, and attaining a silver for SYF. For the first time of my life, I think I wasn't trifling during the competition period. My parts were changed few weeks before the competition and I had to play seven instruments for Festal Scenes (xylophone, cymbals, sleigh bells, glockenspiel, chinese drums, toms toms and snare drum) and I felt like my body was tauted from one end to the other end of the hall. My late coming to band may be inevitable but I'm devoted to percussion wholeheartedly.

- Welcoming Danish, Kai Wen and Kenneth into the percussion section and making us progress and evolve like Pokemon as a whole section despite Sam calling us losers in front of the whole band.

- Parents winning a disclosed amount of money from 4D because of their incredible stroke of luck which bought me this little baby I'm using, my awesome Acer Aspire One notebook! But alas! We spent them all and I have nothing left but lint in my wallet.

- Picking up guitar, discovering new bands, rediscovering old bands and getting inspired all over again. Music never gets old.

Voila!

As we enter a whole new decade of 2010, approaching nearer the hype built around 2012, which is a high possibility that the apocalypse won't happen, lets all go into a euphoric fit and throw away all your old books and notes because school is starting in... Two. Fucking. Days! So stoked!!!!!

And since everyone is publishing up their New Year resolutions onto their blogs, I'll do it too just to make myself sound hip, starting my year off with five resolutions!

1. Be a better person intellectually, physically, mentally, musically and aesthetically.

2. Get. Good. Grades. Easier done than said. LOL.

3. Honing my skills musically. I've tweeted this before and I'll paste it down here: In 2010, I'll be the best female drummer in the world. Ego boost +53.9%!! Fuck yeah!!!!!

4. Be more thrifty and get a part time job.

5. Look better. I'll stop cultivating my hair, get a new hip hairstyle, lose at least ten kilograms, go thrift shopping to find better fitting clothes and occasionally, just occasionally, splurge.

Anyway. Since 2010, and in fact, every single year, it calls for a new change. I'll prove the change and revamp the whole blog. Just realised how tired I am of highlighting and skimming through the whole chunk of words whenever the starry, cosmic background of my template fuse together with the contents on my blog and camouflage altogether.

Three years ago, at 11:42am, my little brother came into the world, not realising his face slid through my mum's vava. The previous sentence may be typed down explicitly but I love my little brother!! And nyeh heh heh I did had my face on it too.

And to commemorate this special day since its Christmas and my little's brother birthday, Mum bought back home KFC's family feast, chocolate log cake for my little brother, ice cream, drinks... Fucking fat glutton. Another futile Christmas spent.

During the afternoon after wasting half of my Christmas sleeping, I took out the studs from my emoxcore studded belt I bought from penisplaza years ago and punctured the metal ends of the studs into my black flats. Turned out awesome! But I had to rummage and ransack the storeroom just to find the shoes though. The amount of mold accumlated in some of my old shoes are like crazy!

Can't wait for Sunday. Yunqian managed to get free tiks to Singapore Idol finale on Sunday. I'll be at the stadium rooting for Sylvia and Sezairi with muah besties! I think there's a flea coming up on Sunday too so fuck yeah fleas.

Yunqian made cookies for our Christmas present! Om nom nom nom nom.
And I made little cards for them all in the name of my primary 5 ID photo.

Viv and I decided to order KFC's black pepper chicken for dinner that was acclaimed to be "deeply seasoned in black pepper marinade for a full-powered blast of flavour" (Derived from a newspaper advertorial) while Yunqian ordered the low graded, fat, crispy, lao pok one.

While Yunqian was happily pigging out on her meal, Viv and I were struggling to pluck the bits of the chicken because it came right off the deep fryer. And eating it? Wah. We were condemned into so much torture just to enjoy such a harmless but legendary chicken. It was so spicy!!! While some faggot who finished eating the lao pok chicken abandoned us for home halfway through.

Anyway. Look what came today at Yunqian's doorstep!

Last band practice before our little one week holiday starts. I just wish I could play better so that I can be more worthy of my conductors' respect. Lol. But band practice was awesome either way. Reshi and Mazlin came. Had a lot of fun with Kenneth and Danish as well. And struggled with the songs for a long while before I had to leave the school early and skip fall in. Fuck yeah.

Vivian came over when I got home and she immediately asked me for the phone, then fought with Thadar. I'm a sucker for "lending my friends the shoulder", "heart to heart talks" and shit like that. Because I can only find solace in food. LOL. ~Self-explanatory~ So all I did was to keep patting her on the back and asked her whether she's okay. Not. I wish Yunqian didn't had to go to Malaysia! Because it could really loosen up the tension and the awkwardness in the study room by shouting "Fuck you!!!!!!!" at Thadar in the background. Haha. In the end... They broke up.

Just joking! LOL.

In the end!!!! After ending up watching New Moon again with Viv so that I will be spared by her squealings, and dissing some fag's music videos called Justin Bieber, they made up and Thadar came over. The two fucked up lovebirds came over again today in the afternoon. And all we did was watch videos and played cards. Lulz.

Band camp was immense. Fuck yeah Team Puma. The band majors decided to end off the camp with a ~big splash~ by pouring the pails of water from the third storey gushing down to the parade square when we were falling in. Nifty trick faggots. Water fights initiated everywhere after that. So much for the cake fight during the 2nd day of camp.

The best part about camp was meeting Ms Akari, the percussion tutor we've been hearing horrible stories about from Mr Lim. And the fact that the camp wasn't entirely a camp. We don't get to sleep over at school because of the construction and some foreign unmoral paedophiles.

Oh yeah. I sat infront of some old hag in the bus while I was on the way to school during one of the mornings. And she persistently wrenches her head just to glare at me coz I was happily humming along to a couple of ISS's songs generated from my MP3 and my sound eliminating computer cheapskate earphones. Instant radiohead. Blame my high quality green earpiece of cunting out on me a long while ago. She got so mad in the end. But it makes me hip either way. At least I don't go come boarding the bus blasting Justin Bieber songs on loudspeaker.

Recently, I've been ditching the hippiest but overrated games on the net and rediscovering, and hooking up to the chronicles of Gameboy Color. Those 1 bit colored, monochrome games... All in the name of technogical advancement, they are still my favourite.
But I think in my generation, my real forte with games are more like flying, musical keys skimming through the screen and having to press them accordingly. Addictive and orgasmic. Its even better than eating three different kind of eggs with soggy porridge for lunch, especially with your new braces on.

Chowed down on some legendary spring chicken with tons of fries for dinner today. One of the rare occasions where I would head downstairs together with my mama just to get something to eat. Yunqian came over earlier in the morning and we had a packet full of rice, chopped chicken, sweet and sour pork and fish cakes for lunch before she went off her class chalet. Even though I'm disregarding the fact that I've lost 1kg over these few weeks, I am self-concious about my weight!

Anyway, its kinda like a busy week for me next week. So stoked!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's my schedule:

Monday - Ditching band practice again. BBQ with clique at East Coast Park. And I thought I wanted to lose weight. Fuck the contrary.
Wednesday - Band practice followed up by my... First. Ever. Job. Interview. Vivian is tagging along with me while Yunqian is getting her spacers onto her teeth on the exact day!
Thursday - The impromptu band practice before the rehearsals.
Friday - Rehearsals at Peirce Secondary.
Saturday - Finally, the graduation ceremony at Peirce that was supposed to be held in the middle of the year, but postponed because of H1N1. Heading down to ECP with Sharifah Hanisah after that for the class outing.
